International Ambassadors informal bloghop: Let´s Party!

Hello everyone,
It´s time for the 10th International Ambassadors (IA) Informal Blog hop.
This time the theme is the new Spellbinders "Let's Party" line (the entire collection is to be found here).
We so enjoy our blog hop and sharing our projects with you all and we love reading all of your comments with so much joy!
We hope this blog hop will provide you with lots and lots of creative inspiration!
Have fun blog hopping!

For my project I chose to use the die-set "Shining star" for a CAS (Clean and simple) card.
So....that means it's easy and quick to (re)make.
My card is to bring a smile to someones face by letting him/her know your appreciation, but I can also imagine the set to be used for example for a baby card....

Used materials:
I hope you take the time to hop on over to the other talented ladies of our IA team.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Have a great day,

Crafty hugs from Holland,

Thinking about you...

Hallo lieve allemaal,

Hello everyone,
Today I'm sharing a card I made for a very dear friend of mine.
Just to let her know I am thinking about her....just as the text says...
With the use of just one embossing folder (Tweets and Twigs by Spellbinders) one can create a beautiful card by combining it with matching (birdy) embellishments.

International Ambassadors Informal Bloghop: Christmas in August

Hello everyone,
Welcome to the 8th International Ambassadors Informal blog hop hemed "Christmas in August".
Yep...only a couple of months before it'll be Christmas again...how time flies!
And with the newest Spellbinders Christmas die-templates now being available in stores, we thought it would be a great subject for our monthly blog hop.
We International Ambassadors hope to inspire you with our projects, each of us in their own style.

I chose to make a Christmas card in traditional colors.
For the Holly farme I stacked Holly Frame and Matting Basics B #4 (with #1 being the smallest die-template). Cut/emboss from kraft cardstock and then use some metallic paint to give the frame an antique gold color.
Cut Matting Basics B #5 from patterned or stamped (music) paper and glue the die-cut behind the Holly frame using 3D foam squares.
Cut/emboss Tree With Bows from green cardstock and glue to the frame using 3D foam squares
Cut/emboss Bird Banner from white cardstock and alter the edges using brown in and a dauber.
Glue to the frame using 3D foam squares.
Mat the frame onto burgundy and then kraft cardstock and finally glue to a white cardbase.
embellish the banner with a Christmas text and glue red rhinestones to the tree.

Used materials Spellbinders®:

I hope you will take some time to visit the blogs of the other participating and ever so talented ladies:

Frienship isn't a Big Thing.....

Hallo lieve allemaal,

Hello everyone,
Today I have made a card using one of the brandnew Quietfire Design stamps:
Friendship isn't a Big Thing. Also used some of the very latest (gorgeous as ever) Spellbinders.
I love this sentiment...it's perfect for letting someone know how you appreciate him/her.
So true....I always say it's the little things in life that count...just a phonecall, a simple text message or just a tiny present to let someone know how much you care about him/her or to let him/her know that you're thinking about about them in special or difficult times.... those are indeed the most precious gifts in life I think....

This card is also to be found on the Quietfire blog (click here)
The card I made is all about simple layering of die-cuts and to soften the card I used gold ink for stamping.

Ik hoop dat jullie de kaart leuk vinden.
Fijne creatieve dag allemaal!

I hope you like the card.
Have a great creative day everyone!

International Ambassadors informal blog hop: Victorian Garden + small give away :-)

Hello everyone,
Welcome to the 6th International Ambassadors informal bloghop.
This time we are all creating a project using the Spellbinders Victorian Garden die-templates.

I chose  S4-531 Romantic Vines.
This set is perfect for a swirly leave accent to a card, but can also be used as background decoration as I did on my cards.

Instructions white card:
  1. cut/emboss  Matting Basics Small #6 (with #1 being the smallest die-template)  from cream cardstock.
  2. cut/emboss  Matting basics Large #6 from white cardstock.
  3. Glue both layers onto a white card (folded) size 4 ⅔" x 6 ⅔" using #D foam squares.
  4. Cut/emboss all Romantic Vines templates twice from gold foil.
  5. Sand the foil for a slightly worn effect.
  6. Glue the vine die-cuts onto the card and cut the parts that overlap the embossed lines using a craftknife or tiny scissors.
  7. Glue a satin banner onto the card.
  8. Stamp sentiment onto cardstock and cut to a banner. Glue onto card using 3D foam squares.
  9. Finish the card using some twine, flowers, leaves and self-adhesive Pearls.

I also made a purple/lilac version of the card....

International Ambassadors Victorian Blog Hop

Welcome to the very first informal blog hop for the International Ambassadors! We got together (online of course) and decided to have a blog hop, just for fun....
It is a great way for you to get to know who we are and to see what we can do....

This is us:
Christine Emberson (Great Britain)
Christina Griffiths (Great Britain)
Linda Lucas (Australia)
Yvonne van de Grijp (The Netherlands) (that's me)

And now....time for Blog Hopping!
If you came here from Linda's Blog - you are in the right place!

We have chosen to use Dies from the Victorian Range - these Dies are divine and it is so much fun to create with them, as you will see as you stop by each Designers Blog:

For the Victorian blog hop I made you a classical card using the Victorian template set called "Delightful Foliage".

Instructions:
  • Fold white cardstock size 11"x7½" to a card size 5.5"x7,5".
  • Stamp sentiment exactly onto the centre of the card base.
  • Cut a piece of blue patterned paper to size 5" x7".
  •  Put Delightful Foliage #2 (with #1 being the smallest die-template) onto the centre of the blue rectangle and drawn a line along the innerside of the die-template with a pencil. Carefully cut out the centre along the pencil lines.
  • Glue blue frame upon cardbase using 3D foam squares.
  • Stack  Matting Basics B #7 and Delightful Foliage #2  and cut/emboss using white cardstock.
  • Leave the dies-templates on the paper and stencil using brown ink and a dauber. remove the die-templates and glue upon cardbase using 3D foam squares.
  • Embellish the card using mulberry flowers , ribbon and self-adhesive Pearls.

Used materials:

Thanks so much for stopping by - we hope you enjoy your time with us - we will be back with more - you can count on it!
Have a nice day!
