LOTV - Little Mermaid Friends...

Hallo lieve allemaal,
Vandaag mijn allereerste bijdrage aan het LOTV Design Collective...
Dit kaartje is opgebouwd rond de stempel "Little Mermaid Friends".
Het afdrukje is ingekleurd met Distress inkt.
En natuurlijk heb ik ook een paar Spellbinders stanzen op mijn kaart verwerkt ;-)

International Ambassadors Victorian Blog Hop

We have chosen to use Dies from the Victorian Range - these Dies are divine and it is so much fun to create with them, as you will see as you stop by each Designers Blog:

For the Victorian blog hop I made you a classical card using the Victorian template set called "Delightful Foliage".

Instructions:

• Fold white cardstock size 11"x7½" to a card size 5.5"x7,5".
• Stamp sentiment exactly onto the centre of the card base.
• Cut a piece of blue patterned paper to size 5" x7".
•  Put Delightful Foliage #2 (with #1 being the smallest die-template) onto the centre of the blue rectangle and drawn a line along the innerside of the die-template with a pencil. Carefully cut out the centre along the pencil lines.
• Glue blue frame upon cardbase using 3D foam squares.
• Stack  Matting Basics B #7 and Delightful Foliage #2  and cut/emboss using white cardstock.
• Leave the dies-templates on the paper and stencil using brown ink and a dauber. remove the die-templates and glue upon cardbase using 3D foam squares.
• Embellish the card using mulberry flowers , ribbon and self-adhesive Pearls.

It´s your birthday!

Hallo allemaal,
Vandaag heb ik mijn copics weer eens uit de kast gehaald om  mee in te kleuren....eigenlijk veel te lang geleden, want het blijft superleuk om te doen.
Voor een vrolijke verjaardagskaart heb ik voor vrolijke kleurtjes gekozen....zo lijkt het al een beetje voorjaar, nietwaar?
Ik weet niet hoe het met jullie is, maar ik loop al twee weken te snotteren en blaffen....ik heb echt een beetje zon en warmte nodig!
...tja...wie niet eigenlijk ;-)

Today I decided to use my copic markers for coloring...way too long ago since I last used those.
 I should have done it earlier, for they are such fun to use!
A happy card, so I chose to use bright, happy colors...makes one feel it's going to be spring again, doesn't it?
I don't know how about you all, but I'm sneezing and coughing for 2 weeks now....I'm really in need of some warm Sunny weather!
Oh well... who doesn't?

Warme chocolademelk....

Hallo lieve allemaal,

Het was weer "frisjes" vandaag buiten.
En wat krijg ik dan...een onweerstaanbare trek in eigengemaakte warme chocolademelk!
Normaal gesproken maak ik dat lekker op de ouderwetse manier: een suikerklontje (of klein beetje caramel-siroop) en een schep echte cacaopoeder (en evt. een heel klein beetje kaneel)
Nou heb ik laatst een keer daarvoor van die stokjes met een blok chocolade eraan gekocht en ik moet zeggen... die hebben ook een heel hoog "mjammie" niveau!
Wat is jullie favoriete recept?

Daarom vandaag ook maar eens een choco-kaart.
En om het mezelf wat moeilijker te maken eens een keer niet in traditionele kleuren...dus mezelf de uitdaging "paars" gesteld.... je moet zo af en toe ook wel eens een keer iets nieuws proberen nietwaar?
En dit is het resultaat van mijn eigen uitdaging....

It's cold here in our little country The Netherlands... snow and freezing cold (for Dutch standards anyway ha ha).
This kind of weather always makes me craving for hot chocolate!
Usually I make it the traditional way: a little sugar (or a little caramel-sirop) and some real genuine cocoa powder (and sometimes also a tiny little bit of cinnamon).
Well last week I bought chocolate lollipops especially for making hot chocolate and I must say...a wonderful alternative...yummy!
What's your favourite recipe?

Anyway, it's why today I decided to make a chocolate-card.
And, to challenge myself, not in the traditional colors but using "purple" ... sometimes you gotta try something different, don't you think?
Well, this is the result of my personal challenge....

Voor de kaart heb ik gebruik gemaakt van:
- een stempel waarvan ik niet weet welk merk het is (staat er namelijk niet op)
- scrappapier van DCWV "The "Winter matstack" ,
- een sneeuwvlok pons van Martha Stewart ,
- de Doohickey swirl-stans van Magnolia,
- de "Frosty Border" stans van Memory Box en
- de Spellbinders "Labels two" stans
Het afdrukje is ingekleurd met copic markers.

To make the card I used:
- a stamp of which I don't know the brand or name (no name on the wooden block),
- scrap paper from DCWV "The Winter Matstack",
- a snowflake punch by Martha Stewart,
- a Magnolia Doohickey swirl die,
- the "Frosty Border" die by Memory Box and
- the Spellbinders "Labels Two" die (the largest one of the set).
The image is colored with Copic markers.

En dan....
De nieuwe blogcandy!
Toen ik mijn kast deze week aan het opruimen was, kwam ik een gloednieuw blok van DCWV tegen dat ik nog nooit gebruikt had....schaam schaam....
Het blokje bevat 72 velletjes en van elk motief zitten er 3 vellen in het blok.
Nou leek het me een leuk idee om er daarom 3 pakketje(van 24 velletjes) van te maken om aan jullie weg te geven...dus....niet 1, maar 3 winnaressen.
Het blok heet "Royal Garden" en bevat extra dik scrappapier waarvan een aantal velletjes met een nmooie glanzende goud-opdruk.
Als je kans wilt maken op de candy hoef je alleen maar de volgende regeltjes te volgen:
1. volger zijn of worden van mijn blog en
2. een berichtje achterlaten onder deze blogpost en
3. (niet verplicht maar ik zou het wel leuk vinden) iets op je eigen blog vermelden van deze candy of vermeld een link op je blog of in een blogpost.
Heb je geen eigen blog, dan kun je natuurlijk ook gewoon meedoen...gewoon even vermelden in je reactie.
Op 17 februari zal ik de 3 winnaressen hier op mijn blog bekendmaken.

And.... a new blogcandy!
Cleaning up my closet last week I found a brandnew DCWV pad called "Royal Garden".... shame on me for never having used it!  It contains such beautiful patterns and some even with shiny golden imprint!
So....I decided to give it away to my blog-followers, good idea?
Because the pad contains 3 sheets of every pattern, I split the pad up in 3 equal parts (each 24 sheets).
This means in stead of 1, there will be 3 winners!

To win the candy all you got to do is:
