Flower card...

Hallo allemaal,
Vanmorgen nog het zonnetje en van,middag maar een druilerige dag....dus tijd om te freubelen.
Voorde kaart van vandaag geen enkele stempel gebruikt en verder  slechts 2 stanzen sets.

Today we started with lovely sunny weather, but that cghanged to a wet afternoon, so a good excuse to get crafty..lol
For today's card I did not use any stamp, just 2 sets of die-templates.

Season's Greetings

Vandaag een eenvoudige kerstkaart.
De stans is een nieuwe  van Spellbinders "Mosaic Vine" van ontwerpster Marisa Job.
Hangend vond ik hem eigenlijk wel leuk als kersttak...een beetje mistletoe-achtig en dus heb ik er een kerstkaartje van gemaakt :-)

CardMaker-Quietfire Blog Hop - All Hearts come home for Christmas

A warm welcome to the CardMaker Magazine-Quietfire Design Stamps Blog Hop.

I'm Yvonne, I live all across the globe (well at least for most of you..lol) in Holland.
Mainly a cardmaker, but I also like mixed media, making journals and scrapbooking.
My favourite techniques are stamping, die-cutting, colouring.

I would like to share a card using one of the latest Quietfire Design Christmas stamps: All hearts cone home for Christmas.

Used materials:

• Spellbinders® : Classic Ovals Small (S4-112) , 5x7 Matting Basics Card Creator A (S6-001) , Botanical Bliss Label 55 Decorative Element (by Stacey Caron) S6-088 and Coralene's Chemise Layering Frame Large (by Becca Feeken) S6-130
• Archival inkpad Jet Black
• cardstock: white, patterned, dull gold
• Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L: 3D foam squares , E-Z tape runner
• Want2Scrap: self-adhesive Pearls
• mulberry flowers, leaves, satin bow
• paper trimmer, bone folder

The card I made may look complicated, but it's really all about simple layering of die-cuts!

By using 3D foam squares for layering you add that extra dimension to your card.

In summer...

Een hele goeie morgen allemaal!
Hopelijk wordt het vandaag net zo'n mooie dag als gisteren!

International Ambassadors Informal bloghop...

Hello everyone,

Some of the International Ambassadors are having another International Ambassadors Informal blog hop....the 15th already!
This time the Blog Hop is all about Stacey Carons' latest Art Deco designs which I simply love!
Each and every die-template in this series is intricate and classical elegant.
This is the card I made for the Blog Hop.

Used materials:

• Spellbinders®: S4-590 Shells Duality, GLT-003 Wrought Iron, PL-001 Platinum Machine
• cardstock: gold, white, black
• Kaisercraft: Captured Moments 4x6"Journal cards (CM326)
• Want2Scrap: silver rhinestones (self-adhesive)
• black satin ribbon (1 inch wide)
• glue, self-adhesive tape, scissors, paper trimmer

The Shells Duality die-template is actually 2 shells wider, but I cut of 2 shells of my paper die-cut to fit it my card.

The golden background is embossed using A Gilded Live die-template called Wrought Iron.

The card is made by simple layering, so really easy and quick to make :-)
