True Friendship...

LOTV April Challenge

Lili of the Valley is having a new Facebook Challenge.
The theme is: Use 3 of the 5 the colours of April: A- Aqua, P- Pink, R- Red, I- Ivory, L- Lilac

LOTV Challenge: Spring....

Ik weet niet of jullie het al gezien hebben, maar LOTV heeft haar blog nieuw leven ingeblazen en heeft op Facebook een Challenge georganiseerd..
De Challenge is op 1 Maart gestart en je kunt meedoen tot  zondag 13 Maart 18.00pm.

International Ambassadors informal blog hop time!

International Ambassadors Victorian Blog Hop

We have chosen to use Dies from the Victorian Range - these Dies are divine and it is so much fun to create with them, as you will see as you stop by each Designers Blog:

For the Victorian blog hop I made you a classical card using the Victorian template set called "Delightful Foliage".

Instructions:

• Fold white cardstock size 11"x7½" to a card size 5.5"x7,5".
• Stamp sentiment exactly onto the centre of the card base.
• Cut a piece of blue patterned paper to size 5" x7".
•  Put Delightful Foliage #2 (with #1 being the smallest die-template) onto the centre of the blue rectangle and drawn a line along the innerside of the die-template with a pencil. Carefully cut out the centre along the pencil lines.
• Glue blue frame upon cardbase using 3D foam squares.
• Stack  Matting Basics B #7 and Delightful Foliage #2  and cut/emboss using white cardstock.
• Leave the dies-templates on the paper and stencil using brown ink and a dauber. remove the die-templates and glue upon cardbase using 3D foam squares.
• Embellish the card using mulberry flowers , ribbon and self-adhesive Pearls.

• Quietfire Design: If you don't believe in Miracles (set of 3) #5981

Cadeautasje.... gift bag....

Vandaag heb ik voor jullie een cadeautasje...heel simpel om te maken, maar wel een persoonlijk en orgineel idee om je cadeautje extra mooi in te schenken.
De basis is een gewoon wit cadeautasje.

Today I made a little gift bag... very simple to make, but also an original and very personal way of gifting a special present.
A simple, plain white paper bag was used to create this gift bag.

Gebruikte materialen:
Used materials:

• wit papieren tasje/ white paper bag
• scrappapier:  Craft Emotions
• stempel/ stamp: Studio Light
• Spellbinders: Fall Foliage (S5-120), Spiral Blossoms One (S4-351)
• Distress ink (Tumbled Glass, Spun Sugar, Gathered Twigs, Barn Door)
• mulberry bloemen/flowers, parels/pearls, kant/lace 

Om de randen van de bloemen te kleuren heb je nodig: Distress ink (Brushed Corderoy) + een blending tool.
To color the edges of the petals you need Distress ink (Brushed Corderoy) + a blending tool.

Woohoo.... Quietfire Design Team!

Hallo lieve allemaal,
Mijn DT bij Spellbinders zit er op....het waren twee fantastische, maar ook hectische jaren.
Ik ben zowel tevreden als ook best een beetje sip omdat het afgelopen is....
Tijd om nieuwe uitdagingen te zoeken en in het kader daarvan heb ik een hele leuke mededeling: ik ben DT lid geworden bij Quietfire stamps.
Misschien kennen jullie dat merk (hier in Nederland) (nog) niet, maar ik ben er weg van....prachtige prachtige gekalligrafeerde stempels met prachtige teksten.
Vorige maand was ik gevraagd als gastdesigner te zijn en vandaag heb ik mijn allereerste blogpost als DT lid gepubliceerd.....best een beetje trots!

After two wonderful but also hectic years my DT at Spellbinders is now over.
Feeling at peace as well as sad at the same time that it's over....
Anyway, it's time for new challenges and I am very happy and proud to tell that I have accepted DT membership at Quietfire stamps.
Quietfire has the most beautiful calligraphic (text) stamps.
Last month I was asked to be guest designer and today I have published my very first DT card....feeling very happy!

Fotolijstje.....heel simpel te maken....

Hallo lieve allemaal,

Vandaag eens een keertje een ander project, namelijk een fotolijstje.
Ik had nog een setje fotolijstjes liggen (van een setje dat ik ooit voor een prikkie gekocht heb bij de Blokker).
Met het opruimen van mijn hobbykamer kwam ik ze tegen.

Omdat het glas los in het frame zit heb ik dat eerst in het lijstje gelijmd, zodat het niet meer kan verschuiven wanneer je er later de bloemetjes op wilt plakken.
Wel eerst even goed laten drogen want anders schiet het glasplaatje los en/of  kan de achterkant van het fotolijstje er aan vastplakken.
Daarna heb ik de bloemetjes, blaadjes, strikjes en plakpareltjes op het lijstje geplakt.
De gardenias zijn voorzien van een beetje Stickles.
En voila....klaar!

Heel eenvoudig om te maken en een heel orgineel cadeautje!

Ik ben benieuwd of jullie het een leuk idee vinden!
