Dit is er eentje: "All Stitched Up" (naast de paspop ook knoop, schaar en klosje garen mal).
De achtergrond is gemaakt met een embossingfolder.

Reindeer and sleigh...

Hallo lieve allemaal,
Vandaag  heb ik een home deco in de kerstsfeer voor jullie.
De arreslee en rendieren is 1 van de allernieuwste Spellbinders stanzen sets.
Misschien nog een beetje te vroeg om al aan de kerst te denken, maar voor je het weet is het alweer zover en als je net zo bent als ik....weer veel te laat aan de kerstfreubels begonnen (oeps)...hi hi

Dit werkstukje heb ik gemaakt voor een Engelse tv show (www.thecraftchannel.tv ) waar Christine, een goede vriendin van mij een Spellbinders show presenteert. Ben er supertrots op dat mijn werkstukje op de set stond uitgestald ( show: Spellbinders traditional Christmas...voor degenen die de herhaling willen zien).

Today sharing a Christmas home deco piece I made.
The sleigh and reindeer is one of the latest releases by Spellbinders.
Maybe still a bit early to think about Christmas, but I alwys start on my Christmas crafting too late...oops...

Notepad....Just a note....

Het blokje is voorzien van scrappapier met een houtprint en daarop een Spellbinders stans met een stempel van Stempelglede.

9th International Ambassadors informal blog hop....recycle...

Hello everyone,
It's time for the 9th International Ambassadors informal blog hop.
This time the theme is recycle.... so pimping up something old or used to something new.
I had this old jewelry box awaiting to give it a new look.

To be honest, it was quite a lot of work, but I love the endresult...now it's a sewing box!

First painted the box white using acrylic paint.
Then added pieces of altered and inked patterned paper.
Cut/emboss/stencil Spellbinders 5x7 Detailed Scallops from white cardstock and using brown ink fior stenciling.
Cut borders from the die-cuts and adhere to the box.
Finish the sides of with hemp glued around the box.

 

Cut/emboss Spellbi nders Devine Floral  from white cardstock and glue on top of the box.

Finish the lid of by adding lots and lots of embellishments such as spools, twine, pins, buttons, rhinestones, etc etc.

• Spellbinders®:  S5-231 Devine Floral, S6-004 5x7 Detailed Scallops, PL-001 Platinum Die-cutting and Embossing machine
• Bo Bunny: patterned paper series" Heritage"
• Beacon Adhesives: 3 in 1 all purpose glue, double sided self-adhesive tape
• white cardstock
• Ranger: Vintage photo distress inkpad, ink blending tool, distresser
• hemp and lots of embellishments

I hope you the idea of reclycling the old jewelry box into a sewing box.

Met slechts 1 embossingfolder (Tweets and Twigs - Spellbinders) kun je met de juiste (vogeltjes)embellishments een leuke kaart maken.

Tag...Feathers....

Hallo lieve allemaal,
Vandaag weer eens een tag oftewel label.
Het leuke van labels maken is dat je er zo leuk al je restjes papier en frutsels op kwijt kunt.
Ik heb er namelijk altijd veel moeite mee om dat allemaal zomaar weg te gooien....resultaat: doos vol stukjes design papier en bloemetjes waar ik er nog maar eentje of zo van heb....klinkt dat bekend?
De veren zijn uit goudkleurig karton gestanst en daarna op de pen van de veer een beetje gebogen om het er wat realistischer uit te laten zien.

Today I would like to share a tag with you all.
The fun thing about making tags is that it's a perfect to clean your desk from all those little bits and pieces. I don't know about you, but I Always have a hard time throwing away those small pieces...resulting in a box full of left overpeices, single flowers and embellishments....sounds familiar?
The feathers were die-cut from gold shiny cardstock and the slightly bent lenghtwise to give it a more realistic look.

International Ambassadors informal blog hop time!

Frienship isn't a Big Thing.....

Vandaag een kaart gemaakt met de allernieuwste Quietfire Design stempels en (prachtig als altijd) Spellbinders stanzen.
De Quietfire stempel heet Friendship isn't a Big Thing en is verkrijgbaar in de Quietfire Design webshop.
Ik vind het een schitterende tekst...perfect om iemand te laten weten hoe je hem/haar waardeert.
Zo waar....ik vind dat het de kleine dingen in het leven zijn die zo belangrijk zijn...een simpel telefoontje, een sms-je of een kaartje om iemand te laten weten dat je aan hem/haar denkt in bijzondere of moeilijke tijden....de meest kostbare geschenkjes in het leven naar mijn mening....

 Today I have made a card using one of the brandnew Quietfire Design stamps: Friendship isn't a Big Thing. Also used some of the very latest (gorgeous as ever) Spellbinders.
I love this sentiment...it's perfect for letting someone know how you appreciate him/her.
So true....I always say it's the little things in life that count...just a phonecall, a simple text message or just a tiny present to let someone know how much you care about him/her or to let him/her know that you're thinking about about them in special or difficult times.... those are indeed the most precious gifts in life I think....

The card I made is all about simple layering of die-cuts and to soften the card I used gold ink for stamping.

International Ambassadors informal blog hop: Victorian Garden + small give away :-)

Hello everyone,
Welcome to the 6th International Ambassadors informal bloghop.
This time we are all creating a project using the Spellbinders Victorian Garden die-templates.

I chose  S4-531 Romantic Vines.
This set is perfect for a swirly leave accent to a card, but can also be used as background decoration as I did on my cards.

Instructions white card:

1. cut/emboss  Matting Basics Small #6 (with #1 being the smallest die-template)  from cream cardstock.
2. cut/emboss  Matting basics Large #6 from white cardstock.
3. Glue both layers onto a white card (folded) size 4 ⅔" x 6 ⅔" using #D foam squares.
4. Cut/emboss all Romantic Vines templates twice from gold foil.
5. Sand the foil for a slightly worn effect.
6. Glue the vine die-cuts onto the card and cut the parts that overlap the embossed lines using a craftknife or tiny scissors.
7. Glue a satin banner onto the card.
8. Stamp sentiment onto cardstock and cut to a banner. Glue onto card using 3D foam squares.
9. Finish the card using some twine, flowers, leaves and self-adhesive Pearls.

I also made a purple/lilac version of the card....

• Embellishments: mulberry flowers and leaves, stamens, twine, sanding tool
