CardMaker-Quietfire Blog Hop - All Hearts come home for Christmas

A warm welcome to the CardMaker Magazine-Quietfire Design Stamps Blog Hop.

I'm Yvonne, I live all across the globe (well at least for most of you..lol) in Holland.
Mainly a cardmaker, but I also like mixed media, making journals and scrapbooking.
My favourite techniques are stamping, die-cutting, colouring.

I would like to share a card using one of the latest Quietfire Design Christmas stamps: All hearts cone home for Christmas.

Used materials:

• Quietfire Design: All hearts come home for Christmas (#5610) - rubber mounted stamp
• Spellbinders® : Classic Ovals Small (S4-112) , 5x7 Matting Basics Card Creator A (S6-001) , Botanical Bliss Label 55 Decorative Element (by Stacey Caron) S6-088 and Coralene's Chemise Layering Frame Large (by Becca Feeken) S6-130
• Archival inkpad Jet Black
• cardstock: white, patterned, dull gold
• Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L: 3D foam squares , E-Z tape runner
• Want2Scrap: self-adhesive Pearls
• mulberry flowers, leaves, satin bow
• paper trimmer, bone folder

The card I made may look complicated, but it's really all about simple layering of die-cuts!

By using 3D foam squares for layering you add that extra dimension to your card.

The Best thing I ever did....

Vandaag heb ik een kaart met een gloednieuwe stempel van Quietfire Design: "The best thing I ever did was Believe in Me"...zo'n mooie quote!

Yvonne here sharing a card made with one of the latest Quietfire Design stamps "The best thing I ever did was Believe in Me"....such a gorgeous quote!

De kaart is echt simpel te maken...het gaat allemaal om "stapelen"van stansjes, het gebruik van foam tape voor een 3D effect, gebruik van inkt om ouder te maken en versieren :-)

The card all about simple layering of die-cuts, adding an extra 3D effect by using 3D foam tape, altering and embellishments :-)

Mr. Zebra....

Hallo allemaal,
Vandaag heb ik een Katzelkraft kaartje voor jullie.
De achtergrond is geen designpapier, maar is gestempeld met Katzelkraft Baroque en Distress Oxide inkt. Daarna bewerkt met gele distress inkt en een ink blending tool.
Mijnheer Zebra is ook een stempel; gestempeld op wit cardstock en daarna bewerkt met blauwe en groene distress inkt.

Hello everyone,
Today a Katzelkraft card.
The background is not designpaper, but stamped using Katzelkraft Baroque and Distress Oxide ink. Afterwards I used yellow distress ink and an inkblending tool to finish te background.
Mr Zebra is also a stamp; stamped on white cardstock and then coloured using blue and green Distress inks.

• Katzelkraft: Baroque KTZ180, Les Anthropomorphes Zebra KTZ141
• Distress oxide inkpad: Spuced Ice
• Distress inkpads: Broken China, Pine Needles, Peeled Paint, Mustard Seed

• cardstock: white, green, silver glitter
• 3D foam tape
