I hope you're enjoying all the beautiful projects especially made for this Spellbinders™ Spring Blog Hop.
Aren't they all ever so talented ladies!
This is what I made.... an easy to make but very elegant card.
- Spellbinders™ Edgeabilities® Classic Bracket (SKU: E8-002) (used: Edge + insert B)
- Spellbinders™ Nestabilties ® Circles Large (SKU: S4-114) (used: circle nr.3)
Cross Promotional Partners:
- Melissa Francis: 12x12" patterned paper (Pearl #PA371)
- BoBunny: 6x6" paper pad Country Garden Collection
- Elmer's Craft Bond: All Purpose Glue stick
- Elmer's: X-Acto self healing 12x12" craft mat
- Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L: 3D foam squares
- Clearsnap: Color Box Stylus set
- Scor-Pal®
Preferred Partner Companies:
- Waltzing Mouse Stamps: Stamp set "Seasons of Love"
Instructions:
Take an A5 piece of white cardstock and fold it with the ScorPal in half to a card size A6.
Then take the Edger and insert and line them up as on the picture.
Make sure that your Edger is not "up side down".
Turn around the dies and tape them together with non-permanent tape so they won't move during die-cutting. Then position them on a piece of white cardstock.
Then die-cut and emboss this. Remove the tape to the side of your paper and use your Stylus and some brown ink to color the edges between the two dies.
Carefully remove the tape and the dies.
Use the Stylus and brown ink to brush alongside the edge of the paper and alter the side very slightly.
Voila...your main Edge is ready.
Make another 3 die-cuts of the Edger: 1x white cardstock, 1x silver cardstock and 1x patterened paper (BoBunny). And brush those as well alongside with the Stylus and some brown ink.
Take a piece of patterend paper (Melissa Francis) and trim it just a little smaller than your card is.
Ink the edges again with the stylus and brown ink.
Take all the pieces you have die-cut and assemble them as on the main picture.
Trim it to the right size and glue all on the card.
Stamp the tag and the sentiment (Waltzing Mouse Stamps) on a piece of cardstock and die-cut and emboss it with the Spellbinders™ Grand Calibur®.
Before removing the die, alter it again with the Stylus and some brown ink.
Wind some rope around the card and glue the label to the card using some 3D foam pads.
As the finishing touch add a little bow to the label.
